As part of their ‘Growing and Minibeast’ topic reception children went to Severn Valley Country park for a pond dipping and mini-beast hunt experience. The children learnt about different habitats, minibeast species and safety by water. The rangers that worked with the children showed them how to handle the equipment safely and discussed how they need to take care of our environment.
