Year 1 had an amazing day at Conkers this week, as part of their topic on ‘Plants & Trees’. They explored the woodlands and used their senses to search and collect a variety of plant materials, which they then used to create a piece of sensory art. They also experienced the barefoot walk, discovering the textures and sensations as they walked on timber, bark, coal, mud and pebbles along the 450-metre barefoot walk.
