Reception have had a busy and exciting time recently!
The children took part in a tasting session for our new school menu, where they had the opportunity to try a range of different foods. Everyone was very brave and gave the new dishes a go, sharing their thoughts about what they liked best. It was wonderful to see the children exploring new flavours and talking about healthy choices.
Reception also enjoyed their Forest School session with Amanda. The children explored the outdoor area while learning about birds and their habitats. They looked closely at different types of birds and then worked together to create their own bird nests using natural materials they found around the forest area.
It was a fantastic session full of creativity, teamwork, and outdoor discovery. Well done, Reception!
