Daycare Experiences
During the Autumn term as part of our Celebration topic we welcome Little City role play experience into the nursery. This experience provides the children the opportunity to explore different roleplay scenarios where they can dress up and act out different experiences. Wednesday 11th November 2026
During the Spring term as part of our Farming topic we have the Living Eggs Company deliver us 10 chicken eggs. This is a great opportunity for the children to learn the start of the egg life cycle and get to watch them hatch and grow in to young chicks. We will be looking at how the chicks change and grow over a few weeks. March 2027.
Also this term we have the Farm on Wheels come and visit us. They bring a range of animals for the children to pet, feed and hold. This links to our topic by allowing the children the chance to see a range of animals that live on a farm up close and learn more about them from Stella the farmer. Friday 26th February 2027
Important Days
On Monday morning we have PE with our Cross Bar Coaches, we ask that the children where trainers that day.
On Thursday we have our weekly Forest school session. The children have the opportunity to explore the outdoor environment and get messy in the mud. On this day the children will need to come in wearing a puddle suit and wellies ready to go into the forest. We also recommend that parents bring in another pair of shoes, and a plastic bag labelled with the child’s name ready to take their dirty things home in.
