Black Country Living Museum

Y5 went on a trip to the Black Country Living Museum to enchance our understanding of the topic we are learning about – ‘Changes over time’. We enjoyed finding out about the different ways of life and the types of houses and shops that people in Victorian times would have be accustomed too. We even had a lesson at school where Mrs Penfold, Mrs Davies and our parent helpers got told off for their nail varnish!!!!

Y1 Visit Attingham Park

In Year 1 we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Attingham Park as part of our science unit on plants. We completed a plant hunt and looked for wild and garden plants. We found roses, foxgloves and cow parsley. We also identified different trees by looking at their leaves. We loved the visit so much we will be writing a recount all about it for everyone to read.

MP Visit – Shaun Davies

We would like to say a huge thank you to Shaun Davies, our local MP for Telford, for taking the time to come and visit us in school today. As a follow up from visiting parliament, we were able to meet with Shaun and ask questions about his role in parliament.

Shaun also gifted the school with a new book for the library, titled ‘If I Ran The Country’, which will be placed in the library in the new academic year.
