The Nativity

This week the children have been learning all about the nativity story. We have been exploring our nativity scene tuff spot and talking about what happens in the story. We have made stables using the different construction materials and started making lots of Christmas crafts for our families.

We also celebrated Christmas jumper day and had our Christmas dinner all together.

Christmas.

This week the children have been in full festive mode. They have had their Christmas Production, which they were all fabulous in! The children have also been fully engaged in Christmas crafts and activities. It was also Christmas dinner this week, which they absolutely enjoyed.

Reception Nativity

A huge congratulations to all the EYFS children for putting on such a lovely Nativity show. You did an amazing job and we are all so proud of you!

Telford Festive Singalong

Alongside many other local schools, KS2 performed lots of festive songs as part of Telford Festive Singalong at Telford Town Park. The children and adults loved every second and everyone left feeling festive and ready for Christmas!

Y6 Parliament

Some of our Year 6 students were lucky enough to travel to London this week for a tour of the Houses of Parliament. The children learnt all about the House of Commons and the House of Lords, learning more about how laws are made, Parliamentary Ping-Pong and the traditions of the UK. We were even lucky enough to sit in the House of Commons and listen to a debate ongoing by the MPs. A fantastic day had by all!

Y6 Pantomime

Year 6 have had a lovely end to the Autumn Term by going to watch Cinderella at the International Centre. A fantastic show that the children really enjoyed! Merry Christmas!

Sophie-Mai

Congratulations to Sophie Mai from Year 5, who will be representing Team England in Dublin this summer at the Dance World Cup as a DWC mini finalist in ballet and jazz.
