Kipper’s Birthday

Our celebration book of the week is “Kipper’s Birthday.” The children have enjoyed creating party lists and writing initial sounds and writing simple words. We have a party shop where the children can buy things for their party. In Numbersense we have been learning how to make 5 and the children have been applying their knowledge in our party shop.

Christmas carols at The Ley

This week the Captain Webb Choir walked to our local sheltered housing for the elderly at The Ley and joined their Christmas celebrations. They sang Christmas songs and joined them for a festive meal. We are not sure who enjoyed it more the residents or the children!

Y5’s Christmas Experience @Telford Minster

The children went to Telford Minster to learn about the Christmas Experience. It was a fun filled morning with a biscuit and squash treat at the end!

Poppy’s dancing achievements

At the weekend, Poppy competed in a dance competition. She competed in ballet, tap, modern, lyrical, lyrical duets, modern duets and a group dance. She finished the weekend with an amazing 7 medals!
